At Compton Green, we’re passionate about supporting the people and places that make Melbourne’s Inner West so vibrant. That’s why we’re offering complimentary signage support to local community groups, schools, sporting clubs, cultural organisations, religious groups, and event organisers.
Who Can Apply?
This initiative is open to community-based groups located within the following suburbs:

Whether you're promoting an upcoming school fête, local sports day, festival, fundraiser or community celebration — we’re here to help you spread the word.
What’s Included?
We’ll install a large 2400mm (h) x 1200mm (w) board featuring your event artwork, framed with Compton Green branding. You simply supply the artwork — we’ll take care of the rest.

Artwork Dimensions: Please provide your artwork sized to 1767mm (h) x 1100mm (w)

Turnaround: Your sign will be installed within 5–10 days of artwork and location approval
Where Can the Boards Go?
You can place your board:

On your own property (e.g. a school, club, or church site within the suburbs listed)

On approved council community signboard sites in Hobsons Bay or Maribyrnong – if so, you’ll need to obtain and forward the relevant council permit.

Please note: If you plan to install signage on council land, you must supply your permit alongside your artwork.
How to Apply
To request your free community board:

Prepare your artwork to the correct dimensions (1767mm x 1100mm)

Choose a location within the approved suburbs

If applicable, obtain your council permit
